About Us...  I come from a family owned business with a focus on building residential homes, working the warehouse, and retail expertise. My parents moved us from Maine to Oregon, and then to Washington in 1964. My father worked for a company in 1967 called Lovable homes and got his experience there building homes. He started his own business in 1969 calling it Interior Specialties with one other business partner. In 1981 he moved on to form three companies called Bickmore's Construction; Bickmore's Complete Home Center and A-1 Insulation. They have since retired and moved to Arizona in 2003.
I had the privilege to learn excellent work values by working with my parents for many years as a child and through out my adult life learning different fundamentals of the businesses. I helped build homes, drove forklift, warehouse work, retail business, and helped install my parents first central vacuum in their home in the mid 1990's. I admire my parents for providing me with the knowledge, hard work and strong ethics that have brought me to this point in my life. I moved on to other jobs since the Mid 90's, Central Vacuum Systems being the one I chose as a career. I worked several years in the Central Vacuum field. The experience has helped me to build this company "West Coast Central Vacuum" learning and teaching several aspects of the job, including installation, sales, repair and meeting the wonderful customers in the Central Vacuum industry. I decided as my parents have chose, to work for myself and provide customers the best service by sharing my knowledge and experience with them. Our company is growing everyday from several resources that have come our way. Our company plans to grow; but still keep that family business traditions going with great values, excellent work ethics, and the best customer service! I became a dealer for Electrolux / BEAM Central vacuum systems. I have had the dream to build the largest central vacuum retail store in the state of Washington. With the knowledge of our friendly crew and staff that have over 27 years of experience, and know the ins & outs of the procedures to install the Central Vacuum Systems and give expertise advice and workmanship, this is a bridge we will cross and together build that dream. We sell everything you need to do it yourself installs or use our professional crew. Our courteous staff is always ready for the next customer to answer any questions or fill orders.
